Chemec was founded in 1987. It offers services and products for the Nordic, Baltic and Russian markets together with its associated companies. Its main products are industrial and special chemicals for various fields of use.

Chemec is dedicated to being near the client and to being able to use its technical expertise and products manufactured or represented by it to help the customer in achieving the goals defined in cooperation with the client, whether they are developing end products or improving cost-effectiveness.

Chemec pigment slurry plants serve both the wood processing industry and the leading pigment manufacturers in the world. Chemec produces pigment slurries and high-quality coating pigment mixtures with its continuous slurry make down systems.

Chemec has agreed to represent and market the products of several companies who are leaders in their own fields. Through cooperation with these companies and a strong knowledge of the local industries, excellent results have been achieved and significant market shares gained.

Chemec's subsidiary Ch-Polymers Oy manufactures and markets styrene acrylate, polyvinyl acetate, vinyl acetate acrylate and all-acrylate latexes for the paper, board and nonwoven industries.

Chemec's subsidiary CH-Gruppen Ab (Chemec Sweden), operates on the Swedish and Norwegian markets.
